You are here because something inside is stirring.
You feel it in your relationships, your body, your dreams.
A longing for magic—real magic.
The kind that shakes loose shame.
That alchemizes pain into power.
That transforms the invisible into visible.
That celebrates the wildness, the rawness, the wholeness of you.

A witness and spiritual friend.
You want a creative doula and fearless adventure-guide.
You bring your longing, your tenderness, your rage, your story.
All of you is welcome here.
Together, we will release what needs to be let go of and visualize your intention, all guided by your body wisdom.
Images will flow from trust, deep presence, and play.
We will remember what it feels like to be seen, not perform.
Held, not directed.
I cannot wait to see who you are and who you are becoming.
Meet Julia.
Intuitive. Queer. Devoted.
I’m Julia, a therapeutic and ritual artist for the mystics, the playful, and the brave—walking with you as you get in touch with your wisdom and reclaim your voice.
For me, the camera is not a tool of performance but of devotion. It is a mirror, a witness, a sacred instrument singing with your truth in real time.
Therapeutic, for me, doesn’t mean clinical. It means we create safety and intention together—so that the process, not just the results, is the raw truth of you alchemized into art. I have grad school training in counseling, so am trauma-informed, and use IFS parts work, somatics, and feminist, decolonizing frameworks in how I facilitate inner healing expression.
As a Queer, earth-rooted artist, I create spaces that disrupt shame spirals and invite freedom. Photography is my way of making the invisible visible—of turning shadow into story, longing into beauty, and disowned parts into belonging.
When you co-create with me, you are not performing for a lens. You are stepping into a relationship, a ritual, a brave space. The images we make together are not just photographs, but embodied reminders that
you are powerful, sacred, and whole.

Testimonials
“I have had the honor of working with Julia twice as a therapeutic photography client - first in a session with my sister, and later in a deeply meaningful session with my mother. Both experiences were profoundly healing.
As someone who struggles with self-image, I felt incredibly seen and supported. Julia even sent us resources in advance to help learn about embodied posing, encouraging us to embrace movement and emotion over perfection.
My mother and sister live overseas, and I had not seen them since 2022. These photos now serve as treasured memories of our reunion and of the love we share. Julia did not just take pictures, she captured connection, healing, and joy. Every time I look at them, I feel warmth and peace. I never imagined a photoshoot could have such emotional impact, but Julia showed me that photography can be a form of therapy, self-expression, and communion.”
“Julia facilitated a photography session for me and the experience was unforgettable. The way she holds space for the client and utilizes backdrops and environmental aspects to symbolically enhance the photos is a skill that left me speechless.
Being photographed by Julia was deeply vulnerable, and yet she created such safety in the relationship during the session. It was empowering for me to move through a personal unmasking process through our photo shoot. I have had the rare privilege of witnessing such devoted, relational, embodied love in very few people in my lifetime, and Julia is truly one of these.”
“I have worked with Julia on a photography project over the past couple of months (still in process). It was a wonderful surprise to read and experience her deeply reflective questions. I was especially grateful for the reverence she brought to each inquiry and the gentleness of her invitation. Julia has a sharp mind and a tender heart. This certainly was evident in the package of materials she sent prior to our first in-person session.
Meeting with Julia one-on-one offered further glimpse into Julia’s capacity to handle the timidity and nervousness that cropped up as I considered the new “becoming” that was being declared and honored in this photoshoot. With great compassion and complete attention, she allowed me to express this new person I was becoming, a person I had been for a long time but hadn’t allowed. Emotionally, I felt validated. Spiritually, I felt seen. Psychologically, I felt whole.”
